Dr. Guobin ZHAO

Guobin received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Pusan National University in 2025, his M.Sc. from Jimei University in 2020, and his B.Sc. in Marine Engineering from Zhejiang Ocean University in 2018. His expertise is in using AI and machine learning to speed up the discovery of nanoporous materials for adsorptive separation. He joined the group in December 2025, and his current research focuses on developing AI-empowered multiscale simulation methodology to study the dynamics of nanoporous materials and improve the prediction accuracy of AI/ML and theoretical calculations.
