Dr. Zheng SHU

Zheng earned his Ph.D degree in Applied Physics and Materials Engineering at the University of Macau in 2025, after completing his M.Sc. in Data Science at the same institution in 2021 and his B.Sc. in Materials Physics from Jilin University in 2017. His training uniquely combines a solid foundation in materials physics with expertise in data science and computational modelling, enabling him to tackle materials and device problems from both a physical and data-driven perspective. In Dec 2025, he joined the group and his current research focuses on AI/ML and structure–performance relationships in advanced metal-based materials.
